BALLET MAGNIFICAT ALICE IN WONDERLAND

Ballet Magnificat also did Alice in Wonderland this spring, so Christina and I took Lauren and Cora to see their version in Jackson. It was very well done and we had a fun girls day out!

GOLD IN THE HILLS

Cora and I had another Vicksburg first tonight - we went to see Gold in the Hills for the first time! It's the longest running show in history (2019 is its 83rd year) and it's kind of hard to believe we hadn't made it to a show yet, honestly, since it also runs for MONTHS at a time once it starts each year, with slightly different actors throughout the running). We had friends in the show tonight, which made it extra fun. Gold in the Hills is a melodrama that includes audience participation (both singing and "reacting" with pre-show instruction) and Cora LOVED getting to be part of the fun!

DISNEY 2019 (DAY FOUR)

Day Four:
Hollywood Studios
Rainy and cold, Star Wars excitements, the Sci-Fi Dine-In, Toy Story Mania, Indiana Jones, the Tower of Terror, dinner at Hollywood & Vine, Fantasmic, and a late night trek for James, Jay, and I over to Epcot to take advantage of Magic Hours!
Using their Christmas gift cards to pick out a souvenir
(We didn't buy those hats - we just wanted a silly picture with them!)
"I can have a milkshake BEFORE I eat my lunch?! I love vacation!!"
Toy Story Land was so incredibly well done - it was like being in the movies!
Slinky Dog Dash was definitely James and Cora's favorite roller coaster! We rode it twice (using the grandparent MagicBands/FastPasses again).
We met BB8!
Cora was cracking me up saluting Darth Vader and pretending the Storm Trooper was after her. James just wanted his picture with the cool Yoda artwork.
Indiana Jones was a hit (and a much welcome rest)! Today was Mardi Gras and we learned during this show why Disney was so busy this week... Half of New Orleans was there avoiding the parades and insane crowds of their craziest time of year!
The grandmas went to see Frozen:
We couldn't resist a few poses with the Disney photographer on our way in to ride the Tower of Terror for the first time!
We caught a quick parade while we were waiting on our dinner reservation:
(James was acting shy, so Daisy kissed him, then literally chased him around, and under, the table!)
Posing under the Rock-n-Roller Coaster entrance:
Sporting their new matching sweatshirts (the only sweatshirts we could find when needed at the last minute) and wrapped in the blanket I'm so glad we packed, ready to watch Fantasmic!
Starting our 1-mile trek from Hollywood Studios (Tower of Terror in the background) to Epcot:
A very late night, and a lot of silliness!
