C+C MUSIC FACTORY

It's "been a minute" since school started, and even though the girls now see each other at least 5 days per week, it's not enough. Cora went home with the Hearns after Girl Scouts for a sleepover and she did not want to come home on Saturday ;-)

They still call themselves the C+C band (because they like to write song lyrics and sing to each other) and Cora doesn't understand why I always respond by yelling "C and C Music Factory!"

SLINGSHOT SLEEPOVERS

Cora and I loved slingshot paintball at Troop Camp so much that we decided to buy a set for us to practice with at home:

The Cora went over to Cara Beth's house for a sleepover and James enjoyed sole use of the TV:

(We always watch awesome 80s movies with James when Cora is gone - this one was a BIG hit with him)

The next night, James Tate came over to our house for a sleepover:

By Sunday night we were all exhausted, but that didn't stop us from staying up late to continue on with our Stranger Things marathon. The kids finally decided they were ready for it (they really want to watch Season 3 when it comes out, but we told them they had to watch the first two seasons before we'd let them watch the newest with us when it drops) and while they've had some jumps and scares, they are loving it! Cora decided to make some Upside Down Slime designs tonight:

A SLIMY BIRTHDAY!

Cora sat us down one evening a couple weeks ago with her birthday party plans. While we were initially worried, it turned out to be a super cute and easy idea!

We got all the requested materials (slime ingredients, paint sets, and favorite foods) together and invited her best friend over for a night slime-making fun! 

(She requested a cookie cake instead of a traditional cake or cupcakes, so I made a batch of sugar cookies and they stacked and frosted and decorated to their hearts content.)

And when breakfast includes jello, you know the day after your birthday is going to be fun too!

A SLEEPOVER AND A PARTY

Cora spent the night at Cara Beth's house, then went to a spa party birthday party for their friend Presley the following day. She had such a fun weekend!
