EASTER BBQ

After our quiet morning at home, showers, and a few photos (who are we kidding... it was between 30-40 shots just to get a couple "all smiles"...), we headed over to the Kennedy's to decorate Easter sugar cookies, do another egg hunt (moved indoors and under porches due to the rain), and snack the day away before a large grilled chicken dinner. It was delicious, and the low key day was quite perfect for the holiday!
I ate the two that I decorated, and stayed far away from the frosting-licked and sneezed-on kid cookies...
Sending Cora to the back of the line for being too anxious and cheating...
 Who likes Easter?!
Thank you Al and Christina for having us over!

EASTER MORNING

James was awake for an entire hour (so he says) before anyone else in the house got up. Luckily, he played quietly in his room and we got to sleep in (which Cora desperately needed to do...)
He told us he saw the strings and knew he shouldn't go out without us, so he went straight back to his room without opening the hall door (hence the reason we slept until 8:00!)
Jackpot!
"Why did the Easter bunny bury my bucket? I know it's in there
The joy over this mermaid costume from Grambot was out of control. And when it was time to eat later, she took it off and told me to take it upstairs and save it for Disney, so she doesn't "mess it up". Good plan, actually... (But no, we won't let her wear that around the Magic Kingdom. At Weeki Wachee though, absolutely!)
They are both in love with their Minecraft Creepers... Kissing and cuddling them. Seriously.
Finally getting around to his cards
Bunny Peep puzzle
Waffles Waffles Waffles! And bacon (of course).
It's not too late to dye eggs on Easter morning. We've done it later...

OUR KING

SOCCER SIBLINGS

Cora's team was missing 3 members today (all the boys!) because Will is out on surgery recovery and David is at Disneyworld and Jamie was simply MIA, so James got to step in and play with Cora (and in her place, when she goofed off enough to set the coach aflame...) Therefore, I took far too many photos. Because it's cute when your kids are on the same team.

"Hey, I'm open!"
