It's Back to School Night!
I loved seeing this quote posted big and bright at the front of the school!!

Waiting for the all-clear to be allowed down the halls to find their new classrooms!
(Eriam is one of Cora's favorite boys. We're pretty sure he likes her too, but obviously she's a bit much at times...)
(Posing with Autumn and Cara Beth - two of my favorites!)

James has a new-to-the-school teacher this year, Mrs. Jones (she's a runner and will be doing St. Jude this year), and Cora has a new-to-3rd-grade teacher, Ms. Nichols (she's getting married this October and coaches the Warren Central High School cheerleaders). James has some good buddies in his class (including Darcy), but not Coltin, which bummed him out (and we're all disappointed that Ivory, the bully, is in his class again). Since Cora is friends with everyone, she didn't care which class she got, but we're happy to have her with Cara Beth and Katie this year to switch up the Grace/Anna Paiten drama (those two have been best friends since they were babies and there was a good bit of playground drama when Cora joined their gang last year). Cora will get to spend half her day in Mrs. Smith's class (James' homeroom teacher from last year) for ELA and Social Studies, while Ms. Nichols teaches Math and Science. James will spend half his day with Mrs. Fraiser (who used to teach at Southpark up until 2 years ago) for ELA and Social Studies, as Mrs. Jones is the Math and Science teacher. I'm excited that they both have young homeroom teachers, mostly because I know they are more adaptable and interested in using technology for communication (thank goodness for the Remind app).

We're looking forward to another awesome year at Bowmar!
