James had his first experience with bubbles tonight! I had been hearing from my online mommy friends (no, I'm not weird, lots of moms connect through sites like BabyCenter) that this age is a great time to introduce bubbles. We were hoping to entertain James with something new, and we ended up entertaining Mouton too! Jude was afraid of them. So was Maxine. Scardey cats... Anyway, James didn't try to catch the bubbles (though Mouton did), but he did watch them, smile, and make excited noises. Mouton is actually more entertaining to watch (sorry James, no offense):
