Our Webelo Den met at Miss Amber's house tonight so they could learn the different fire building methods. Then each Scout picked a method and built their own little fire in the fire ring (well, James and Ethan worked together because we were late coming from soccer). They used sticks and leaves and pine needles and different accelerants and structure types.
Once everybody had a good fire going, Miss Amber broke out the marshmallows and the boys made s'mores.
