This year our December is especially packed with things (meetings, travel, races, recital, etc.) and we weren't able to tie down a Nutcracker date that both Christina and I could attend, so Cora and I decided to try a new show at a different location on a Friday night. We loved it and would definitely go back (but hope we get to resume our tradition with the Kennedys too!)
I had such a lovely evening with my Baby Doll (even though we rushed straight from Girl Scouts and barely had time to grab sandwiches for dinner, then had to rush home to bed since it ended so late). Sometimes it's stressful to squeeze things in (even fun things), but it's always worth it! A little one-on-one time is so good for the kids (and us parents too).
