...financially, anyway.
Jay came home and "fixed" the clanking washer, so I congratulated him, then remarked how even though we don't love the front load, it's awesome that it's lasted us the 10 years we've been in this house... only for the clanking to resume and Jay to discover that the motor had died and therefore we'd be better off replacing the machine...
(We'll worry about a "matching" dryer if and when it needs it)
