Cora and I grabbed last minute tickets to Debra Franco's (the other dance studio in town) Christmas show. They do one every year, rotating the Nutcracker with a Christmas-themed event every other year. This year was filled with lots of ballet, jazz, and tap done to different Christmas songs, plus a few solo singing numbers (by dancers and their families). It was definitely different than RiverPointe's more traditional Christmas ballet, but it was a lot of fun, and it was neat to see some of Cora's friends up on stage without having to be all dressed up and rushing around ourselves!
