Both classes had Christmas parties, but we hadn't volunteered to help with these particular parties, so the only photo I have is one that Cora's room mom sent me during their gift exchange:
Another friend (who gets the paper), sent me Cora's letter to Santa (our local paper posts all the Santa letters from the Kindergarten through 2nd Grade students - so no letter from James this year):
On the last day of the semester, the students apparently had a show put on by their teachers (these photos were borrowed from our school's parents Facebook page), then the class who had collected the most canned goods for our local community food shelter got to "slime" the principal:
