James is learning partial quotients this week. Mama had NO IDEA how to do them (I should have paid more attention in 3rd grade common core math last year...) and James' notes leave more than a little to be desired. Since YouTube was not my friend, I phoned Jay and asked him to meet us between dance classes (at dinner) to help us out. James was in tears at the library and with a full packet due in two days, he needed more than mama could offer. Thankfully, Jay gets math easily and a quick Google search had him in the know. So he taught James. Then he taught me. Then he taught another 4th grade mom back at dance during ballet...
(Pretty sure Cora is going through a growth spurt... she ate all her chicken nuggets, half of mine, half of James' soup, and was still hungry. Due to tropical storm Gordon, ChickFilA was missing their daily order, so we resorted to a milkshake to fill her belly.)
