We had a somewhat surprise (last-minute, anyway) baby shower at work today. It was a great way to celebrate Cora's full-term milestone (reached today, at 37 weeks) and revel in more pink, girly baby things. Many thanks to all our coworkers for providing yummy cake and punch, sweet baby gifts, and perhaps most importantly, the promise of frozen meals to stock our to-be-purchased chest freezer! You're all awesome and we're very grateful for your generosity!
And I've come to a conclusion... While folks seem to like buying baby clothes in general, they go wild with the opportunity to buy GIRL baby clothes - seriously, check out that stack on the left. That is ALL clothes! Cora will definitely not have time to sport her big brother's hand-me-downs anymore - too many cute outfits of her very own!
