What if that tiny fever on Monday indicates more than teething?Why hasn't that cough gone away, even though her nose is less runny than it was on Wednesday?How come she's still waking up at night and having a hard time going back to sleep?
We are paranoid parents (not as bad as we were when the kids were infants, but still, we worry) and decided to take Cora by to see the good doc this morning, just in case. Yes, on her birthday. Lucky girl. Turns out her left ear is infected. Who would have thought? We figured if it wasn't just teething, that maybe we'd get an "allergies" diagnosis. But nope, she gets to start antibiotics, just in time to have to coordinate them (and remember to give them in a timely manner) on vacation.
In case anyone out there is wondering, THIS is why we went back and forth all week wondering whether she was actually sick or just teething:
Sure seems full of energy and zing to me!
P.S. Those of you coming over for Cora's birthday party tomorrow, never fear, she is not contagious (hasn't had fever in days) and it's just an ear infection, nothing more. Party on!
