We had a great play date at our favorite park this afternoon (buddies
included Manu and Leo, Azure and Seamus, Gabriel and Isaac, and Will and
Lauren). The boys and Cora mostly took turns riding bikes. Azure seemed
to like the playground best. Leo, of course, was happiest with the
trucks, playing in the dirt, sand, or bark. And Seamus, Isaac, and Lauren are still too little to do anything other than watch from the safety of their mamas' arms. At one point Cora was
playing with Azure and saw her swinging out and kicking her feet up over the big slide, so she
went around to the other side and proceeded to do the same thing.
Nothing new there - she tends to freak me out with that on a regular
basis. But then she climbed on top of the slide and was jumping,
swinging, balancing without hands, and basically looking like a pint-sized gymnast attempting to do the
parallel bars. At least she was wearing her helmet...
