LITTLE READER

We've been having some behavior problems with James lately (mostly at school), and when Jay went in to talk to his teacher about it this morning, she ended the conversation extolling his virtues (the non-behavior-related ones), such as always being the first to raise his hand an answer a question (and usually being right). While that made us feel good, it certainly doesn't override the issues we're having with him keeping his hands to himself, focusing on his seat work, and listening to his teachers. Therefore, we were extremely happy to get an "all smiles" behavior report today! And on top of that, we found a pretty awesome note on some of his seat work today:
(If only we could get him to write that S vertically... I know we'll miss it when he starts doing it correctly though!)
(We thought it was funny that he drew some pictures as instructed, and some letters. We especially love the "smiling duck" in the bottom right. And the tent/tee-pee. And the nut...)
