While mama was racing (and partying), the kids attended the Home Depot fire engine kid craft event with daddy (between soccer games). There were police cruisers and an ambulance and fire truck to check out before putting hammer to nail though.
The kids reportedly really liked this project. As usual, James followed the suggested colors for painting his engine, while Cora made hers red and PINK. It turned out pretty cute. They had to take them home to dry before they could add the stickers.
Just a little bit cool out there in the parking lot...
