Pack 7 held their monthly meeting tonight, where James' Den got to host and lead the opening ceremony. The boys who had earned belt loops since the last meeting received their awards, and all the kindergartners in the inaugural Lion's Den received their badges for completing all their tasks. Then there was a quick visit by one of Santa's helpers, who had Pinewood Derby Car Kits for the Scouts and little gifts for their siblings, followed by a potluck dinner. The kids had fun, but for some reason James was really tired and didn't even make it halfway home before falling asleep (at 7:15pm)!
He's looking awfully grown up to me lately... Maybe it's the boots? ;-)
