Another of our favorites at the beach is Safe Harbor for seafood and outside dining. They've opened a second location down in Jax Beach (a while back, we just hadn't made it there yet) and we were really happy with the ease of ordering and the speed with which we got our food (the Mayport location is unbelievably packed at all times of the day), and the bonus was that Jamie took the kids outside to hold a table while we waited in line to order - thank you Uncle Jamie!
The new location has a playground within walking distance, so we went there after lunch to let the kids run off some energy and feed the birds (always a hit). Dad obliged them with a game of Monster.
