SUPERHERO WEEKEND!

Saturday afternoon we dressed up the kiddos for Coltin's 4th Birthday party!
Bringing Coltin his gift
Striking a pose with Gabriel and Coltin (they are so SERIOUS about being superheroes it's adorable)
She doesn't have any superhero duds other than her cape, which has a heart on it, so we figured since James was wearing Spiderman PJ's she could wear her Hello Kitty PJ's (that have hearts on them).

Then on Sunday afternoon we grabbed our superhero gear once again and headed over to Manu's 4th Birthday party!
She was pretty pleased to be wearing James' Spiderman pajama shirt
Sophie made capes for all the kids. The little ones ended up wearing them far longer than the big kids did.
Pretty sure Spiderman is the preferred superhero around the 'Burg...
Will and his trucks. Inseparable!
Oh yes, he KNOWS he's adorable!
We had a few short rain showers, but the kids were unstoppable.
Hiding from rain drops again. And still digging in the dirt/bark.
Being told not to climb on the slippery ladders...
You photobomb my party pictures, I put you on the blog anyway. So there.
James told the kids this spot was white because it was cold. I had to explain to him that it was not frost, but in fact just dry bark because the overhanging slide had blocked the rain drops. Interesting the associations 3-year-olds make though (he'd just learned about frost a couple weeks ago when we had our first freeze).
Cupcake time! (And no, that was not James' beer. A "responsible adult" just happened to step out of my shot so I could get the kids solo.)
