James had a couple good smiles during his shoot, but the photographer must not have captured them. The sun was right in their eyes, hence their squinting. This is why we dislike having to purchase photo packages on portrait day, without seeing the product first. Lesson learned. Next year we take our own photos (at the beginning of the season when everything is still green and the uniforms are clean/unstained). and just show up for team photos...
Micky didn't arrive in time for the U5 group photo. Another lesson learned - coach Jay will have to harass parents more in order to get their kids there. It's unfair to the other players to not have everyone show up for the team photo. James' team only had TWO players show up for photos, so they didn't even bother taking the U6 team photo.
