Cari turned 40 today, so we baked her some red velvet cupcakes and went over to enjoy an evening birthday BBQ with the Jungs and Eberlys. The kiddos were beyond thrilled to spend a few hours with their idols Jacob and Bridger, and I admit it was VERY nice to be able to just let them hang out and not have to worry about them (much, anyway) while I chatted. James was basically Bridger's shadow (and even got to play video games for the first time ever), and Jacob took his role of "mother hen" very seriously and watched every move Cora made. He even indulged her need to dress up, and at one point brought her outside wearing Bridger's glasses and hat, and about two dozen Mardi Gras beads. She thought she was very fancy. Many thanks to the Jungs for a yummy dinner, and for exhausting my kiddos so they'd sleep through the night! Happy Birthday Cari!

| Meeting the Jung's new kitties. This little girl is named Bella. She and her adopted brother Luigi are both pretty awesome cats. I definitely enjoyed some kitty snuggles myself while we were visiting. |
