Just like
last year, we hid the kids' Easter baskets and tied a string to the end for them to follow around the house in search of the prize!

For some reason, our kids sleep IN on holidays. Just like Christmas morning, Jay and I were up and waiting for them to roll out of bed. We finally gave up at 8:00am and just woke them up. Luckily they didn't hold that against us! We handed over their strings, explained the game, and sent them on their way!

| Optimus Prime was a huge hit. The Easter bunny did well by James. (Cora's favorite item was the flip flops. As soon as she saw them she yelled "Them are so pretty!" and put them on. Such a girly girl.) |

| At least James waited to eat his chocolate after breakfast. We found the Whoopie Pie pan Jean gave us last year and baked some bunny-shaped scrambled eggs with it. |
After breakfast, we cleaned up the house a bit and started cooking our Easter meal!
