I apologize in advance for all the blurry iPhone photos. I can't seem to find my camera after downloading all the birthday party pictures...

| Birthday breakfast of donuts (per her request), complete with candles |
| So ready to open presents from family, just take the picture already mama! |
| She got some cool stuff this year (both at her party last weekend and on her birthday this morning), but she is seriously most pleased with her new books. This one from Team Mitchell had her squealing with joy! It's a long read, but since we deleted 'Sophia the First and the Floating Palace' from the DVR without her permission, we kinda owe her anyway... |
The GoldieBlox sets from her Auntie Taryn and Uncle Davey are also a big hit. (We had seen these back when the video of the girls engineering an domino-effect project set to a Beastie Boys song was passed around Facebook last year, but needed to wait until Cora was a bit older to take the plunge.) The kits come with books that walk you through a problem solving/engineering exercise to create a project. Once you finish that, you can follow instructions (similar to Lego sets, but with far less details, to encourage self discovery) to create a bunch of other projects. Or just use the pieces however you want.
Costumes from mama and daddy! Batgirl, Princess Anna, a Cinderella apron, an Olaf dress (and the Elsa swimsuit and cape). Our girl just loves dress-up!
| The Frozen book was another squeal eliciter. |
| Yes Grambot, light-up musical cards are still well loved by this crowd! |
| Cora refused to model the Cinderella apron, so James grudgingly obliged. |
| Smelling the Strawberry Shortcake doll and modeling her new raincoat that Gramma sent. (She finally outgrew her adorable flowered raincoat after almost 2.5 years!) |
| Princess Anna in a dress that will hopefully stand up to her daily wear better than the tulle and organza dresses... |
