After sleeping in (we were up until 2:00am... long drive in the rain plus seeing Jamie for the first time in a year!) and eating a lazy breakfast, we caught a break in the rain and high-tailed it to the beach before the rest of the weekend storms rolled in. (Cora had asked to go when we arrived at 11:00pm last night, complete with swimsuit, and was dismayed that we wouldn't take her in the cold, dark rain to go play.)
