When we walked into the barber shop with James this afternoon, he said "haircut" and settled in to wait his turn. The only person in front of him happened to be his buddy from school - Gabriel! Unfortunately, Gabriel is NOT a fan of Mr. Downey and the whole haircutting process. He cried the whole time, even with his paci and unlimited use of his mama's iPhone. James kept telling him it was "okay" and "awight", but it didn't help. We were so worried James would learn from that example and throw a fit when we put him in the chair, but instead he surprised us, and sat like a perfect gentlemen, all by himself (for the first time!), throughout his haircut. We were mighty proud of our big boy!
And here is the finished product. Shorter and lighter all around, just in time for summer!
James kept telling us "pitty". See? Boys can be pretty too.

He is such a big boy!! He HAS to give Coltin lessons! His hair is so uneven right now b/c he practically traumatized the poor girl cutting his hair!
