Knowing that today would mark the 40-day countdown to Disney (not the first day of our trip, but our first day in the parks), we had the kids make a paper countdown chain yesterday while we Skyped with Grambot. I used Jay's matte cutter to evenly cut the strips for the kids (to save time, since we had so many to do) and they taped them together themselves. It gets more real every week... Everything is planned out and reserved, pre-trip purchases have been made, and I've even started packing! All that's left to do is place our pre-order for lunch at Be Our Guest (to save time), receive our Magic Bands (set to arrive mid-May), and visit the grocery store for trip essentials before we go (we're planning to just do breakfast in our room in the mornings to save time/money, and we'll bring all our favorite snacks and drinks for the drive and downtime too). The excitement is reaching fever pitch around here!
