Cora and Emily were the only U5 kids to show up this week (David was still out of town, Will is not allowed to play contact sports yet, and we have no idea where Cari or Jamie were), so James had to step in again to even out the playing field. He scored a few goals before coach daddy told him to take it a little easier on the younger kids and share the ball.
Despite an awesome practice on Thursday, Cora's head was just not in the game today. There were only a few plays where she seemed to be focusing and giving it her best effort.
I swear it looks like his ankle is breaking here, but I just happened to catch him in a tight turn to make a play for the goal.
There's Cora in the thick of it again!
Coltin and Emma's new puppy, Chase (named after the Paw Patrol character, of course!), is soft, sweet, and cuddly. James spent his "out" quarters (his entire team showed up, so they had to take turns) feeding Chase ice cubes and scratching his ears.
Much warmer out there today than it has been lately...
