After yet another trip to the beach (no photos because I spent most of the time swimming), we went to Singleton's for dinner and met Ryan, Amber, and Barrett.
After dinner, we went down to the beach (it was after 9:00pm at this point - no idea how the kids were still going after the busy day they had) to watch the moonrise. We tried to do this back in November, but were thwarted by clouds. It was clear enough tonight though, and it was a nearly full harvest moon, so it we lucked out with a really cool view!
Yes, it's tiny. The horizon is very far away from the shoreline...
(Would you believe this was my first ever Atlantic Beach moonrise? All the time I lived there we never went out to watch it!)
