CLOUD DOUGH

8 cups flour + 1 cup of baby oil = endless toddler fun!
(I actually doubled the recipe, which took the whole of one bag of flour and one regular sized bottle of baby oil. Just mix thoroughly in a large bowl or bin with your hands. It looks like sand, acts like sand - clumps like wet sand but sifts like flour, and smells like babies. Totally awesome.)
This activity kept James' attention for forever. Well, forever in toddler time, anyway. We must have played with the cloud dough for over an hour, easily. Cora got bored after about 10 minutes, but came back now and then to participate. She is in absolute copycat mode these days. She watches James SO closely, and does EXACTLY what he does (just look at her waiting and watching in this photo below). Seriously, it's crazy to us. James was never this much of a copycat with us, and Cora doesn't do it to nearly the extent with us that she does with James. As of this week, Jay and I have fully accepted that every single thing that James does, Cora will do half a second later. And we're pretty sure he likes the attention, because he's been doing more and more random things, just waiting for her to follow along. It's wild!
He asked if he could get in and feel it with his feet. So we said "Sure, why not?"

Because the entire sunroom was a mess anyway...
In fact, the sunroom is still a giant mess. But it sure smells great!
