Now that Cora is in the big kid class, she gets to do fun things like fingerpaint:
James came home today with a huge packet of work from last week, among which we found these gems (so apparently he CAN trace letters and press hard with his pencil, when he wants to):
The kids had a project to complete tonight: Valentine's boxes. We lucked out for Cora, since one of my coworkers happened to have a sparkly box leftover from a Christmas gift that she wasn't using. Cora highly enjoyed adding glitter hearts to the box. And her belly.
For James, I wrapped a Christmas box in his favorite fabric (you may recall his helicopter jammies) and let him add glitter stars. He even removed the backing of all the stickers by himself.
The finished projects (with names created from pipecleaners) are currently drying, but I'll probably remember to take photos tomorrow before they head out to school in preparation for the Valentine's party next week!
