Today was a good day! We got to daycare and work on time (for once), the kids both had good reports, James had his ear recheck and all is well, Jay took James to get his first pair of running shoes (for his 1-mile race next month), then took both kids to Playland where they ran and bounced out all their energy, where I met up with them after work, then we went out to dinner (at Martin's) for a spontaneous get together with friends since Katie is in town for the night. And as expected after all the excitement, the kids went to bed EASY. Can't ask for a better Friday than that!
Have-no-fear-Cora climbed up the big slides over and over:

And rode down with her big bro a few times, laughing all the way:

I didn't catch everyone well in this photo... Christina holding Grady, Mary Beth, Sandy, Lauchlin, Olivia, Katie, Alex, and Sophie holding Leo.

No, James is not playing solitaire. He just thinks he is:

Manu wanted Cora to get down and play with him:

But she was too busy goofing off with her menu:

And James may not like to trace letters, but the kid can draw a mean set of train tracks, a skill he's had for a couple of months now. Now I just need to remember to keep a train in the diaper bag for him!
