SHAKE AND FLY

Mama didn't feel like working out today, so we went through the drive through to get milkshakes and headed to the track behind the gym to fly kites instead. James was ALL ABOUT that milkshake until we got to the gym, then all he wanted to do was fly his new kites...

(Doesn't he just LOOK like a 3-year-old all of a sudden?)

(Impatiently waiting for Mama and Sissy to finish their shakes...)

It wasn't quite windy enough for a good fly, but we gave it our best shot. James was particularly amused by my attempts to gain some air by running with the kite and wildly flailing my arms. As were the runners/walkers on the track...

Needless to say, Cora could care less about those kites. She preferred to move onto James' shake, since it was just sitting there unloved, while hers was long gone.

'Don't bother me Mama, I'm trying to drink here!'
(Oh, that HAIR of hers! It's SO blonde in the sun, and so fine and wispy. It flew much better than the kites!...)

I cannot believe how grown up James looks in these photos!
