Martin's had a Red, White, and Brews party tonight to celebrate the upcoming holiday (as with most local establishments in our small town, they'll be closed on the actual holiday, as well as the days leading up to and following the holiday...) and the opening of their new beer garden (a fenced off portion of the parking lot, attached to the restaurant's back deck, where you can drink and play games like cornhole and bring your dog to hang out, but where kids are not allowed, and you have to go inside to order food). The kids are always excited to go to Martin's for dinner (honestly, one of three places that we ever take them out to eat - because it's kid friendly, reasonably priced, and we can eat outside where their noise generally doesn't bother other guests), but "party" nights are especially exciting for them. Jay and I could easily eat here 3 or more times/week and be happy (we usually don't, but every now and then...) "Where everybody knows your name..."

| Try not to look TOO patriotic there James... |
 |
| No minors allowed down in the beer garden. Womp womp. James asked Jay if he would take him down there when he's a daddy. Don't worry, he's not interested in beer - he just wanted to play cornhole! |

| My handsome boys! |
 |
| They love Lisa's copper Venus fly trap and insist on checking it out every time we go in or out of Martin's. I swear if I ever find one for sale somewhere, I'm getting it for our yard! |
