| Auntie Taryn gave Cora a very fun and fancy hairstyle for the day! (While she put on Addy's pretend makeup over and over and over...) |
| PawPaw walks into the park with Cora, Eli, and James |
| The boys tended to stick together for rides, especially if they could ride in the same vehicle, but the girls (as expected) both always wanted to drive, so they were always in their own vehicles. |
| Don't mind their refusal to smile for the camera - they were having fun, I promise! |
| Taryn and I took a turn at our own ride - a timber rattler roller coaster! |
| This was Cora and James' most anticipated event of the day: the Octonauts show! |
| She danced, she answered questions, she sung along... she LOVED it! |
| James retreated to his daddy's lap, but also says he loved the show. |
| It's like meeting a celebrity, I suppose. Check out those smiles! |
| Their favorite "ride" in the park was the Pinnacles rock maze. They spent 20-30 minutes in there. Twice. David and Jay and I chased them around and hid from them, jumping out from around corners, but they were SO FAST (and also able to sneak through the tunnel short cuts that they often scared us too! |
| There was a bridge/walkway above the maze, so we were able to sneak up there and get a good look at the hoodlums now and then when we couldn't find them (the acoustics were weird in there, plus there was music playing, so it was a little tricky to catch up with them at points - luckily there are only 2 entrances/exits and PawPaw sat between them to keep his eye out for escapees). |
| Jay and David cooling off at the series of waterfalls |
| Riding the monorail |
| PawPaw broke the cardiologists rules and rode the bigger roller coaster with us ladies... |
| David and Taryn float with Cora in front of the giant mushroom... |
| Ridin' that train... (Cora took Grambot to the back, trying to get a little alone time with her) |
| The park has a few different splash pad areas, and the kids were far overdue for a little cooling off... |
| Waterslide (kinda) in their clothes. No worries. |
| These cousins love each other just a little bit! |
| Addy and Cora with PawPaw on the balloon ride. Mama took one for the team and took the boys. Luckily I did not get as nauseated as I did in the spinning strawberries... |
What a fun day and great amusement park for little kids. Thank you so much mom and dad for taking us on this adventure - the kids will be talking about it for a long, LONG time!
