MONDAY GOODBYES

We didn't get much time with my grandparents at the BBQ last weekend, so we went up to Elk Grove this morning to spend a few hours with them. We started with a big lunch, then continued with my dessert back at their house (my grandma made my favorite cheesecake for me - she's the best!)
Calm, quiet kids at the restaurant. Electronics and baby dolls to the rescue!
She said they needed a nap, so she tucked them in with her napkin.

When we got back to Stockton, we pretty much went straight to David and Taryn's house, ordered pizza, and hung out while the cousins played (and played and played).
James learned about Skylanders (Eli's favorite video game), and I think Jay was as interested as his son...
Everybody was enthralled when I left to go get the pizza
Auntie Taryn made Frozen playdough (it was sparkly!) and it was a huge hit with Cora. She and Addy played with it for a very long time after dinner.
The boys retreated to the loft and played other video games until we cut them off at bedtime.
The girls were far too busy to sit still like that though, so they ran around outside, playing on the teeter-totter (Grambot and PawPaw got Eli the same one they got James), the scooters, and the play set.
Cora tried to give Grambot heart failure... hanging like this for as long as she could while swinging back and forth, then belly flopping to the ground. She never once cried or complained, so I figured she was fine. The only damage I saw was a few tiny scratches on her face from the grass. Maybe we'll have to sign her up for acro in the spring?...
