James came home from California singing the glories of Skylanders, a game his cousin Eli has been playing for years. Other than missing Eli and his grandparents and Manu, and kissing the banana slug and the cold ocean, Skylanders is all he's been talking about. Well, turns out I got back to work to find an email from Cari about a Skylanders game, portal, and game piece that she was offering free to a good home. Cari made me mama of the year around here this weekend! And daddy earned his title by taking James to Gamestop to pick up a set of characters so he could actually play it. We're now working on a chart to help James "earn" his Skylanders playing time (on weekends) so that we don't have to hear him ask us 5000 times per day when he can play... Thank you Cari (and her boys!) for passing the torch to James - he says he loves you!
