Regardless of James' GREEN victory on Friday, we still had to stick to our plans of zero screen time all weekend, so we began a marathon session of Uno that night that ended up lasting all weekend long (when we weren't racing or sleeping or doing chores or playing outside in the dirt pile carving the "two volcanoes in love"). They like it as much as we do, and are hilariously into it the whole time. They dubbed themselves "Team B" (Team You Can't Beat Us, since they each won the first two rounds) and occasionally let me be on their team, while daddy was dubbed "Team All By Yourself" after he was "mean" to mama and skipped my turn too many times in a row...
I had the bonus of a surprise gift waiting for me when I got home from work on Friday... the best beer cozy ever! (From Jenny, who was spending her weekend with her sister at the Bend Beer Fest - and yes we're insanely jealous!)
