Lest you think we have been giving James all the attention (negative or positive) over the past two weeks, let me assure you that we have not. Cora has been doing fabulously at school, every single day. She has come home with PURPLE and GREEN (mostly PURPLE) without fail, folder filled with completed worksheets (done so neatly and carefully), and great reports from her teacher's aid (who is also a door opener in the car line before and after school, so I have daily opportunities to talk with her). She seems to really love Cora, so she's always stopping me to tell me the latest story (all good!) and give Cora hugs hello/goodbye. She told me that Cora is "smart, REALLY smart, maybe the smartest in the class" and that she's "pretty funny and always has a good story to tell me". (I hope Cora is not telling all our secrets... or making up falsehoods about us like she did last fall...) Needless to say, we are VERY proud of our girl and have been careful to give her the praise she deserves amid everything else that has been going on.
