James had a busy day playing with his Grandma, sharing toys with his sister, and being chased around the playground by his Mama. He even climbed up the steps and went down the slide all by himself twice (with Mama standing just underneath to supervise, of course). The first time, when I said "Wow James!" (surprised that he was willing and able to be such a big boy), he looked at me with his eyes open wide and replied "Wow" (like he was surprised himself). The second time he went so fast I almost couldn't catch him at the end. The third time, he looked a bit nervous when he got to the top of the slide, turned around, and walked back down the steps! We sure had fun today...
(If only spontaneous evening naps didn't make bedtime so difficult and drawn-out...)
