Home Depot wore us out a little, so we stopped by Shipley's to replenish our coffees and grab a donut (not just one total, but one for each of us). We then surprised the kids by taking them to our office building parking lot so we could work together (all 3 of us!) on teaching Cora to ride her bike like a big girl. Unfortunately, while the bikes made it back into the van after playing at home last night, the helmets did not. Since we had already told them the plan though by the time we unloaded the bikes, and the parking lot was flat and devoid of traffic, we decided to let them go without and just hope nobody fell and smacked their head... Brilliant plan for a kid JUST learning to ride, right? Luckily nobody had any incidents whatsoever and Cora took to the bike just as quickly as her big brother did - 3 days and she's got it figured out!
