It stormed all day today. Literally. 12+ hours of thunderstorms and pouring rain! We got over 6" in less than 24 hours - it was incredible. I've never experienced a full day of storms before (rain, yes, but not constant thunder and lightening and wind). It was an excellent excuse to hunker down in the house and have a craft-filled pajama day! Some of our activities included fort building, Lego construction, painting dinosaurs created with plaster molds (another one of James' birthday gifts!), and mass producing breakfast burritos for the next 2 weeks or so. There was also plenty of lazy movie watching and book reading. I love me a good stormy day!
