BUSY DAY WITH OUR BUDDY WILL

Dance recital rehearsal and portraits, lunch at Martin's while Jay participated in the Delta Brews Brewathon, a visit to Glenwood Circle playground, then off to the mall to receive their medals at the Junior FIRST Lego League expo. I thought they were tired by that point (I was!), but we spent another hour playing outside at home, then settled in for pizza and a movie before heading back outside to play in the last hour of daylight, catching tiny toads and swinging. It was a busy day, but really fun, and the kids were so good for me (well... there were a couple Cora meltdowns, but the boys were little angels).
MineCraft obsession leads to very quiet lunches with these three...
Jay brewed an English IPA, which will be a new brew for our household!
Meet the Blockheads: Will, Cora, James, and James
Will was showing me how their "simple machine" recycling center worked
The big kid (high school) robotics team brought their giant ball tossing robots
Don't worry, they're ALL wiggling loose teeth (not picking their noses). Three peas in a pod.
The entire SouthPark(ish) Jr FIRST Lego League crew (we have two teams)
Nothing beats a medal!
Like I said, tiny toads. Hundreds and hundreds of them everywhere you step...
