I'm pretty sure the endorphins kicked in within the first 100 yards of our 12.5-miler this morning. There is something exhilerating about taking off to run a new route with a large group. Two years ago I never imagined I'd be excited to get up at 5:15am on a Saturday and go run for 2 hours, but the smile on my face this morning was wide enough that my cheeks hurt. I am so thankful for this group!
Sophie, Amy, Beth, Mack, Lori, Christina, Terry, Lee, and Tom. Big group for this "trail run" along the dirt and gravel roads that circle the harbor.
Not much out there, especially after the flood 3 years ago...
A rare group photo on a run with "Mack's Pack", just the ladies here!
