Since it was gorgeous out, and we didn't have to be to dress rehearsal until 6pm, I took the kids over to our favorite park after school so they could ride bikes and play with their best buddies. If I haven't mentioned it here on the blog yet, the Sanchez crew is moving to California (in less than 3 weeks now). Crazy to think that just a few short months ago all these kids were zipping around Glenwood Circle on their Striders (and years ago it was trikes...), and now ALL the big kids (Manu, James, Will, and Cora) are riding 2-wheelers without training wheels (and zipping faster than ever). It is extremely obvious lately how grown up they're all getting... We're going to miss the Sanchez family so much, but we are also beyond thankful that our kids have had the past 5 years together and will have so many great memories to look back on (recorded on the blog even, so their young minds can always see photos to remind them of their adventures). It's hard living far from family (and we wish all the time that our kids lived closer to their cousins!), but we have been blessed with some amazing friends here in Vicksburg (and luckily they aren't all leaving at once!) - and while it won't be the same without Sophie and her boys around, it won't be a true goodbye - we'll see them again in August (and hopefully every year that we fly home to California to visit family, since they'll be living just an hour away)!
