NO SANTA SECRETS THIS YEAR

The kids knew just what to expect from their Santa experience this year, and it took some convincing on the car ride over that they didn't have to whisper and keep it a secret (i.e. that telling Santa what you want for Christmas isn't like wishing on a star or coin toss) like they did last year.

You know you want to see that comparison...
(Last year was the FIRST year that Cora was willing to sit and talk to Santa)

I have no idea what Santa said that was so funny...
Cora told Santa that she couldn't remember what she wanted. James tried to whisper it in her ear, but she disagreed, so Santa ended up telling her that he'd bring her something special. And now when you ask her what she wants from Santa, she says "He promised to bring me something special!" Ah, the possibilities...
James told Santa (loud and clear - and he hasn't wavered since!) that he wants a Lego Submarine. Our Lego lover is easy to please ;-)

After our visit with Santa, we visited with some friends, ran around in circles, and took some photos (before rushing home to meet the babysitter for mama and daddy's early anniversary celebration date night!)
